FARMINGTON -- Bessie E. Wilt Amsden, 91, of Flat River died Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995, at Camelot Nursing Center in Farmington. She was born Sept. 11, 1904, at Coffman, the daughter of John and Annie Simpson Perry. She first married Andrew A. Wilt, who preceded her in death. She later married Chessie Amsden, and he also preceded her in death...

FARMINGTON -- Bessie E. Wilt Amsden, 91, of Flat River died Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995, at Camelot Nursing Center in Farmington.

She was born Sept. 11, 1904, at Coffman, the daughter of John and Annie Simpson Perry. She first married Andrew A. Wilt, who preceded her in death. She later married Chessie Amsden, and he also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Howard O. Wilt of Fenton and Earl B. Wilt of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters, Lois Wesley of Sullivan and Donna McFarland of Park Hills; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Caldwell Memorial Chapel in Park Hills, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Ronnie Graham and the Rev. James Barker will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington.
