BESSIE DENNY

PUXICO -- Bessie Bennett Denny, 92, of Puxico, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at Puxico Nursing Center.

She was born on Aug. 10, 1907, in Puxico, daughter of John and Francis Reddick Bennett.

She married Marvin Adam Denny on Nov. 2, 1937. He died Sept. 3, 1985.

She had been a resident of Puxico before moving to St. Louis in 1944 and returning in 1985.

Survivors include two sisters, Anna Caston of Pontiac, Mich., and Frieda Lorenz of Waterford, Mich.; a grandson; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and a granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Puxico Cemetery, with the Rev. Darren Baker officiating.
