CHARLESTON -- Bessie B. Anderson, 90, of Charleston died Friday, May 1, 1998, at the home of a daughter in Charleston.
She was born Oct. 27, 1907, in Neelyville, daughter of John and Jane Hall Hogan. She first married Herbert St. Cin, who died Jan. 20, 1951. She later married Clyde Anderson, who died April 16, 1962.
Anderson lived in Mississippi County most of her life, and was a member of Trinity Free Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a son, Earl St. Cin of Micanopy, Fla.; two daughters, Julia Butler and Freda Smith of Charleston; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and a half sister.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Pete Morton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
