CHARLESTON -- Bertha Wheeler, 81, of Charleston, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Nov. 25, 1912, in Hickman, Ky. She had lived in Missouri more than 70 years. Survivors include three nephews, Lazarus Jones of Cairo, Nannon and Tracy Jones of Benton Harbor, Mich.; four nieces, Lona Tuck and Vera Shoat of Cairo, Manvella Martin of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Alice Wrenn of Kansas City...

CHARLESTON -- Bertha Wheeler, 81, of Charleston, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include three nephews, Lazarus Jones of Cairo, Nannon and Tracy Jones of Benton Harbor, Mich.; four nieces, Lona Tuck and Vera Shoat of Cairo, Manvella Martin of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Alice Wrenn of Kansas City.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sparks Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Otis Walker will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. to service time.
