BERTHA R. SUTTERER

PERRYVILLE -- Bertha R. Sutterer, 65, of Perryville, died Monday, June 1, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born June 8, 1926 at New Orleans, daughter of Albert and Anna Mae Ezell Laurent.

She married Wallace Sutterer on Nov. 8, 1947. He survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Cathleen Fehl of St. Marys, Linda Allen of St. Charles, Mary Roeper of St. Peters, and Marge Markway of Perryville; two brothers, Bob Laurent of New Orleans and John Laurent of Cincinnati; three sisters, Anna Mae Love, Birmingham, Ala., Leslie Baroni of the state of California and Alvina Laurent of New Orleans; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Two brothers preceded her in death.

She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
