ZALMA -- Bertha M. Hanner, 96, of Zalma, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1992, at Pine Lawn Rest Home in Puxico. She was born July 3, 1896, at McGee, daughter of Samuel and Nancy Richie Duniphan. She married Dolph Hanner Jan. 12, 1913. He died May 13, 1983. Survivors include a daughter, Melva Overton of Zalma; two brothers, Leonard and Beuford Duniphan of McGee; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren...

ZALMA -- Bertha M. Hanner, 96, of Zalma, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1992, at Pine Lawn Rest Home in Puxico.

She was born July 3, 1896, at McGee, daughter of Samuel and Nancy Richie Duniphan. She married Dolph Hanner Jan. 12, 1913. He died May 13, 1983.

Survivors include a daughter, Melva Overton of Zalma; two brothers, Leonard and Beuford Duniphan of McGee; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a grandson and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Bill Sargent will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery at Marble Hill.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
