Bertha Mary LeGrand, 94, of Benton, died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born March 16, 1911 near New Hamburg, daughter of William M. and Lucy H. She was born March 16, 1911 near New Hamburg, daughter of William M. and Lucy H. Grojean LeGrand.
LeGrand, formerly of Chaffee, was a retired secretary at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton.

Survivors include two brothers, William LeGrand of Cape Girardeau, Emil "Tony" LeGrand of Sikeston; and two sisters, Dorothy Hopes of Clarksville, Mo., and Virginia Glaus of Benton.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton after 4 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery in Chaffee.
