Bertha Louise Holder, 87, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1992, at American Care Center in Perryville. She was born Aug. 1, 1905, in Kennett, daughter of James T. and Sophia Dicus Fuller. She and James Edward Holder were married July 10, 1920, at Kennett. He died in June 1965...

Bertha Louise Holder, 87, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1992, at American Care Center in Perryville.

She was born Aug. 1, 1905, in Kennett, daughter of James T. and Sophia Dicus Fuller. She and James Edward Holder were married July 10, 1920, at Kennett. He died in June 1965.

Survivors include a son, James Holder of St. Louis; four daughters, Ruth Frenzel of Perryville, Patsy Williams of Joshua Tree, Calif., Juanita Bragg of Cape Girardeau, Frances Knapp of Foristell; 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons and a daughter.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Bill Bowen will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
