BERTHA HOEHN

PERRYVILLE -- Bertha A. Hoehn, 89, of Perryville died Monday, Nov. 17, 1997, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 11, 1908, in Perry County, daughter of Lewis F. and Rosia M. Schemel Hoffman. She and Rudolph A. Hoehn were married April 30, 1928. He died Feb. 18, 1986.

Hoehn was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Betty Kakalia of St. Charles, Carol Sutterer and Marjorie Walker of Perryville; three sons, Harold Hoehn of Ballwin, Larry Hoehn of Clarksville, Tenn., Ronald Hoehn of Peoria, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, four sisters, three brothers, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30-9:30 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
