SIKESTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Bertha Mae Warren Burk will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. Jeff Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley, Mo.
Warren, 89, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Clearview Nursing Center.
She was born Dec. 14, 1911, in Trimble, Tenn., daughter of Jack Delpha and Angelina Hunt Harper. She and Shirley Lee Warren were married July 3, 1928. He died May 19, 1970. She and Arthur Burk were married Feb. 4, 1974. He died Feb. 26, 1994.
Burk was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include six sons, John Warren of Dexter, Mo., Lester Warren of Savannah, Ga., Charles Warren of Sikeston, Bobby Warren of Jonesburg, Mo., Billy Warren of DeSoto, Mo., Shirley Warren of Greenwood, Mo.; two daughters, Helen Goings of Dexter, Dolly Hutson of Patton, Mo.; two stepsons, Karey Burk of Phoenix, Ariz., Gary Burk of Syracuse, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Judy Prater, Julie Reems and Elizabeth Gregory, all of Warsaw, Ind.; a brother, Jack Harper Jr. of Dupo, Ill.; 33 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
