BERTHA BREMER

ALTENBURG -- Funeral for Bertha F. Bremer of Altenburg will be held at 10 a.m. today at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel. The Rev. Ahlert J.C. Strand will officiate, with burial in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel from 9 a.m. until service time.

Bremer, 82, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at Perry Oaks Healthcare.

She was born Nov. 24, 1915, at Altenburg, daughter of Henry and Mathilde Gruenwald Degenhardt. She married Edgar H. Bremer, who died Dec. 7, 1971.

Bremer was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Fred Bremer of Overland; a sister, Cordy Lueders of Creve Coeur; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.
