BERTHA B. FELTY

CARRIER MILLS, Ill. -- Bertha B. Felty, 81, formerly of Jonesboro, Ill., died Monday, Dec. 25, 1995, at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

She was born Jan. 17, 1914, at Pope County, Ill., daughter of Frank and Tessie Burns Miller. She and Wayne W. Felty were married June 10, 1935, at Stonefort, Ill. He preceded her in death Feb. 27, 1982.

Felty was a member of the Jonesboro United Methodist Church. She was a nurse at the Clyde L. Choate Mental Health Center until her retirement.

Survivors include two sons, Darrell Felty of Albuquerque, N.M., and Max Felty of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Pauline Bean of Fairfield, Ill.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Blaine Felty will officiate, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.
