DUTCHTOWN -- Berniece Marceline Koehler, 68, of Dutchtown, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 17, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Andrew and Coletta Westrich Seyer. She first married Melbourne Koehler June 24, 1944, who preceded her in death Dec. 28, 1973. She later married Cletus Koehler Jan. 24, 1976.
Koehler had worked at Jackson Bowling Lanes. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Melbourne Koehler Jr. of Birmingham, Ala., Ronald Koehler of Cleveland, Miss., Steven Koehler of Dutchtown; three daughters, Marilyn Weber of Cape Girardeau, Martha Pillar of Aurora, Ill., Margaret Meyer of Gordonville; four brothers, Lester and Andrew Seyer Jr. of Oak Ridge, Elmer Seyer of Dexter, Charles Seyer of Jackson; four sisters, Viola Kirchdoerfer and Jo Ann Clements of Fruitland, Lavada Clements of Jackson, Rose Pair of Oak Ridge; 11 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, daughter and brother.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Michael Zoellner will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 6-9 tonight. A prayer service will be held at 7:30.
