DESLOGE, Mo. -- M. Bernice Primo, age 92, of Desloge passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in Desloge. She was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Danby, Missouri, the daughter of the late V. Irene (Noce) and John E. Gansner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Frank "F.C." Primo; a sister-in-law, Delois "Dee" Gansner, and an infant great-great-granddaughter...

DESLOGE, Mo. -- M. Bernice Primo, age 92, of Desloge passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in Desloge.

She was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Danby, Missouri, the daughter of the late V. Irene (Noce) and John E. Gansner.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Frank "F.C." Primo; a sister-in-law, Delois "Dee" Gansner, and an infant great-great-granddaughter.

She is survived by her son, Randall (Daria) Primo of Desloge; a daughter, Janet (Rodger) Chisman of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; a brother, John Rayburn "Ray" Gansner of St. Peters, Missouri; a sister-in-law, E. Loraine Clark of Benton, Kentucky; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Park Hills, Missouri; a founding member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church of Festus, Missouri, and a former member of Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.

She was also a member of the University of Missouri Extension Club at Kinsey, Missouri, and a longtime Kinsey Volunteer Fire Fighter Backer. She is best known for her faith in God, love of family and great cooking. She often said, "Save your fork, the best is coming."

Visitation was Wednesday evening at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. Funeral service was at the funeral home Thursday, officiated by Pastor Eddie Bone of First United Methodist Church of Park Hills. Interment was in Concord Cemetery at Bloomsdale, Missouri.

Memorials in her memory are preferred to Concord Cemetery Fund, 10499 State Route OO, Bloomsdale, MO 63627 or First United Methodist Church of Park Hills.
