MORLEY, Mo. -- Bernice Mallard, 70, of Morley died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 1, 1933, at Benton, Mo., daughter of Cleo Richard and Trula Mae Dowdy Traw. She and Rolland Lee Mallard were married Jan. 13, 1951, in Piggott, Ark. He died June 24, 1988.
Mallard formerly owned and operated Bea's Arts and Crafts in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was a member of Morley Church of Christ and Ladies VFW Auxiliary in Morley.
Survivors include a son, Michael Mallard of Morley; two daughters, Sandra Webb of Oran, Mo., Teresa Parker of Poplar Bluff; three brothers, Richard Traw of Baker, Ore., Donald Traw of Idaho, James Traw of Mountain Home, Ark.; two sisters, Sue Beck of Rockford, Ill., Janice Fields of Pecatonica, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo., from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Bill Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
