DONGOLA, Ill. -- Funeral Mass for Bernice Cox of Cambridge, Ohio, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna. The Rev. Tom Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 4-7 p.m. Sunday.

Cox, 83, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge.

She was born March 14, 1916, in Dongola, daughter of Homer and Susie Eddleman Davidson. She and Fount Cox were married April 4, 1933. He died Nov. 17, 1974.

Survivors include four nieces, Carlene Green of Cambridge, Janet Williams of Olive Branch, Francine Eppelsheimer of Wauwatosa, Wis., Katrine Barefield of Katonah, N.Y.; five nephews, Fred Davidson of Coal City, Donald Davidson of Jefferson City, Mo., Carl Davidson of Rocky Mount, N.C., Patrick Davidson of Overland Park, Kan., and Marc Davidson of Boston, Mass.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
