Berneice Trost, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Jan. 19, 1929, in Mesler, Mo., daughter of Louie Jesse and Florence E. Lewis Bollinger. She and Lawrence L. Trost were married Oct. 27, 1945, in Oran, Mo. He died Oct. 2, 1997.
Berneice was a sewing machine operator at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Dianna (Greg) Marston of Glenallen, Mo.; three brothers, Jim Bollinger of Sikeston, Mo., Ben Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, Buster Bollinger of Oran; three sisters, Rita Friga of Chaffee, Mo., Shirley Wilson of Greenville, Mo., Frances Eftink of Springfield, Mo.; and a granddaughter, Crystal Rauh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at Morley, Mo.
