MARBLE HILL -- Bernard Leon Sneed, 63, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 14, 1931, son of Edna Lee and Sarah Stewart Sneed. He and Evelyn Elliott were married July 1, 1980. She died Sept. 12, 1990.
Sneed was a member of Point Pleasant General Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Sneed of Cape Girardeau, Clayton Sneed of Jackson; his mother of Kansas City; a stepson, Larry DeLisle of St. Louis; a stepdaughter, Terry Arnzen of Leopold; two brothers, Phillip Sneed of Reston, Va., Larry Sneed of Independence; three sisters, Rosemary Gray of Kansas City, Pat King of Independence, Shirley Bliss of Mountain View, Calif., and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bobby Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
