SIKESTON -- Benjamin Robert Lefler, 12, of Sikeston, died Thursday, July 15, 1993, at his home, following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 11, 1980, at Chaffee, son of Don and Marian Tetley Lefler. He was a student at Scott County Central Elementary School, and member of First Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Don and Donna Lefler of Morley; mother and stepfather, Marian and Steve Malone of Sikeston; a brother, James "Jimmy" Lefler of the home; a sister, Sara Lefler of the home; two half sisters, Elizabeth Malone of the home, Danielle Lefler of Morley; three stepbrothers, Nick, Ben and Geoff Mansker of Morley; maternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Tetley of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, Doyle and Audra Lefler of Sikeston, Dottie Lefler of Fort Collins, Colo.; maternal stepgrandparents, Bill and Ina Dollins of Morley; paternal stepgrandparents, Mary Malone of Sikeston; paternal great-stepgrandmothers, Myrtle Alband of Cadiz, Ky., and Roxie Defield of East Prairie.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Jim Guffie will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Saturday.
