SIKESTON -- Becky Beatrice Wheetley, 85, of Sikeston died Friday, Jan. 10, 1992 at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 8, 1906 at Doniphan, the daughter of Robert and Annie Decker Payne.

She married Edward Wheetley, who preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1962.

She was a housewife and had lived at Sikeston for 20 years.

She is survived by five sons, Kenneth , Don and Mack Wheetley, all of Sikeston, Ed Wheetley, Farmington, Jim Wheetley, Claremore, Okla.; three daughters, Viola Cobb, Bernie, Wilma Phillips, Bloomfield, Pat Evans, Sikeston; 39 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Three sons, and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Sikeston with Kenneth Carnell, of the Malden Church of God, and Terry Ray, of the Sikeston Church of God, officiating. Burial will follow at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews.
