JACKSON -- Beaulah M. Brown, 82, of Jackson died Sunday, July 16, 1995, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 23, 1913, at Pomona, daughter of George and Mary Miller Gastineau. She and Otis Brown were married Oct. 11, 1933. He preceded her in death Aug. 26, 1976.
Brown moved from Ste. Genevieve to Cape Girardeau in 1945. She was a member of the Shepard Baptist Church in Neely's Landing. She worked for the International Shoe Co., before retiring in the 1970s.
Survivors include five brothers, LeeRoy and Charles Brown, both of Jackson, Elmer Brown of Scott City, Guy Brown of Gordonville and Albert Brown of New Wells; a daughter, Susie James of Jackson; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Al Brown of Louisville, Ky., will officiate, and burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery.
