BEAULAH A. HOPKINS

JACKSON -- Mrs. Beulah A. Hopkins, 91 of Jackson, died Saturday Oct. 30, 1993 at Deal Nursing Home. She was born June 9, 1902 in Bollinger County, the daughter of Pinkney and Amanda Robbins Fowler.

She was married to Paul Fischer in November of 1919 and he passed away April 1, 1964. She was then married to Howard Hopkins and he passed away in August of 1976.

She had lived in Jackson for seven years, moving from Terre Haute, Ind. She was a member of Breden Memorial Methodist Church in Terre Haute.

Survivors include: one son, Robert Fischer of Greenwood, Ind.; two daughters, Judith DeLong of Canton, Tex., and Bettie James of Jackson; one sister, Jewell Lyerla of Long Beach, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at DeBaun Spring Hill Chapel in Terre Haute, with the Rev. Fred Haywood officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
