BEATRICE TURNER

ANNA, Ill. -- Beatrice Turner, 77, of Anna died Friday, Oct. 18, 1996, at Union County Hospital.

She was born March 10, 1919, in Anna, daughter of Ed and Nancy Stevens Gaddis. She and Beaumont Turner were married Feb. 3, 1936. He died in 1975.

Turner was a member of Anna VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include three sons, Tom Turner of Sikeston, Mo., Ed Turner of St. Louis, Hal Turner of Anna; a sister, Margarett Cottone of Anna; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Hardway officiating. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery.
