MOUNDS, Ill. - Beatrice Hendricks, 92, of Mounds, died Saturday, Feb. 26, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born in Tupelo, Miss. on Sept. 17, 1901, to Alvah and Rachel Branum Sammons. Survivors include two sons, William L. Hendricks of Edwardsville, Ill., and Marvin Headricks of rural Mounds, Ill. Other survivors include one brother, Grove Sammons of Ft. Myers, Fla., and six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren...

MOUNDS, Ill. - Beatrice Hendricks, 92, of Mounds, died Saturday, Feb. 26, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born in Tupelo, Miss. on Sept. 17, 1901, to Alvah and Rachel Branum Sammons.

Survivors include two sons, William L. Hendricks of Edwardsville, Ill., and Marvin Headricks of rural Mounds, Ill. Other survivors include one brother, Grove Sammons of Ft. Myers, Fla., and six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Hendricks, in 1968, and by a son, John Hendricks; several sisters and brothers, and one grandchild.

Hendricks was a retired secretary, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mounds.

Friends may call after 5 p.m., today, at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, with the Rev. Quintin Davis officiating.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pulaski, Ill.
