MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Beatrice Cook, 89, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at Scenic View Skill Care of Herculaneum, Mo.
She was born May 1, 1912, at Lutesville, Mo., daughter of John and Jane Welker Douglas. She and Truman Gladys Cook were married Sept. 1, 1936. He died Feb. 22, 1999.
Cook was a member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, John Harlan Cook of Arnold, Mo.; a daughter, Betty Lincoln of St. Johns, Mo.; two sisters, Sarah Trentham of Patton, Mo., Florence Brummit of Oran, Mo.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, and a sister.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Norris officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery.
