CHARLESTON -- Bea Bertha Horton, 86, of Charleston, died Tuesday, March 15, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born June 18, 1907, in Marianna, Ark., daughter of Will and Ida Hudson.

Hudson was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church, and served on the Mother's Board.

Survivors include three sons, Eugene Horton of Charleston, T.C. Horton of East St. Louis, Ill., Arlee Roosevelt of Haynes City, Fla.; two daughters, Atha Horton of Charleston, Emma Allen of Mansville, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthew Church. The Rev. Wiley Reed will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
