Barry Mosley

Barry D. Mosley, 57, of West Frankfort, Ill., died Saturday, June 1, 2002, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born June 28, 1944, in Christopher, Ill., son of R.H. and Norma Mosley. He and Nancy Williams were married Sept. 20, 1964. She survives.

Mr. Mosley was a graduate of FCHS Class of 1962. He attended VTI, John A. Logan College and SIU for commercial art. He was well-known for his artistic ability.

He lived in Cape Girardeau from 1988 until moving to West Frankfort in 2000.

Survivors include a son, Barry Mosley Jr. of Cape Girardeau; his father of West Frankfort; a sister, Sandra Hosmon and husband, Steve; two nieces, Heather Hosmon Willis and Haley Hosmon of West Frankfort.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Mosley; an infant sister, Brenda K. Mosley; and his grandparents.

Graveside service was held Tuesday at Boner Cemetery.

Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort was in charge of arrangements.
