BERNIE -- Funeral for Barbara Luvetta Yarbrough of Bernie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie. The Rev. Carl Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Parma Cemetery.

Yarbrough, 56, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 5, 1943, at Catron, daughter of David Roy and Wilma Beatrice Hess Mims.

Survivors include two sons, David and Glenn Yarbrough of Bernie; a daughter, Peggy White of Gideon; three sisters, Lily Ervin of Catron, Elaine Brooks of Dexter, and Reba Ezelle of Bernie.

Also surviving are nine brothers, David and Ronald Mims of Bernie, Mervin Mims of Parma, Wayne Mims of New Madrid, Everett Mims of Dexter, Manuel, Lee and Jerry Mims of Malden, James Mims of Olive Branch, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
