Barbara Snider

Barbara Sue Snider, 56, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Oct. 6, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Nov. 1, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ben W. and Flora A. Cox Snider. She was reared by her mother and stepfather, Flora and William McDowell.

Snider attended Morley Schools. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1969 and was a member of Iona Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Billy "Red" and Robert Snider of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Helen Lipe, Betty Anderson and Carolyn Seabaugh, all of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, two brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Revs. David Butler and Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
