Barbara N. Sander, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 1, 2024, at Ratliff Care Center. She was born Nov. 21, 1946, in New Madrid County to Harold L. and Lucille M. Wyatt Senciboy. She and Tommy Lee Sander were married April 21, 1989, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Dec. 10, 2009. ...

Barbara N. Sander, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 1, 2024, at Ratliff Care Center.

She was born Nov. 21, 1946, in New Madrid County to Harold L. and Lucille M. Wyatt Senciboy. She and Tommy Lee Sander were married April 21, 1989, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Dec. 10, 2009.

Barbara graduated from Oran High School.

She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary No. 3775.

Survivors include two daughters, Denise J. Stickel and Debra L. Pobst, both of Cape Girardeau; five brothers, Jimmie (Mary Ruth) Senciboy, Randy W. (Lachelle) Senciboy, Billy Ray (Julie) Senciboy, John (Teresa) Senciboy and Gordon (Janie) Senciboy; three sisters, Geraldine (Paul) Blue, Mary Jo (Andy) Pobst and Bessie (Jerry) Seabaugh; five grandchildren, Tyler Howard, Brittany Hanks, Steven Ray Hanks Jr., Andrew Hanks and Mason Pobst; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Dennis L. Howard Jr.; brother, Gary Senciboy; and two sisters, Georgia St. Cin and Bonnie Jean.

There will be a private family graveside service.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
