Barbara Rhyne

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Barbara Joann Rhyne, 62, of Chaffee, formerly of Scott City, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, in Scott City.

She was born Sept. 29, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, to Lester and Altha Joanna Krugger Lukow. She and Orville Sidney Rhyne were married Feb. 6, 1971, in Oak Ridge. He died Jan. 1, 2005.

Rhyne was a cook at Burger King in Scott City.

Survivors include a son, Mike Rhyne of Scott City; her father, Lester Lukow; three brothers, Gary and David Lukow of Cape Girardeau, Larry Lukow of Gordonville; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her husband.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery at Farrar, Mo.
