BARBARA PROVO

THEBES, Ill. -- Barbara Jean Provo, 62, of Thebes, formerly of Tamms, died Sunday, July 7, 1996, at Tamms.

She was born Sept. 26, 1933, in Kuttawa, Ky., daughter of Corbert and Esther Moore. She married Jesse Provo Jr., who died Jan. 4, 1994.

Survivors include three sons, Elton Provo of Tamms, Michael Provo of Cape Girardeau, Mo., James Moore of Picayune, Mich.; three daughters, Teresa Ketterer of Bertrand, Mo., Lily Smith of Cape Girardeau, Debra Moore of Princeton, Ky.; a brother, Corbert Moore Jr. of Picayune, and 14 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Billy Don Heady officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery at Mound City.
