BENTON, Mo. -- Barbara Jean Meadows, 64, of Benton died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at home.
She was born March 24, 1943, at St. Louis, daughter of Lester Alfred and Violet Rodgers Parris.
Meadows was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
Survivors include four sons, Lynnie Rulo of Benton, Michael Rulo of Scott City, Gregory Rulo of Sikeston, Mo., David Meadows of Advance, Mo.; two daughters, Sheila Byassee and Louise Nored, both of Quilin, Mo.; a brother, Donald Parris of Scott City; a sister, Geneva Norman of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, five sisters and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce, Mo.
