Barbara Geile

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Barbara Geile, 78, of Perryville died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at her home.

She was born May 23, 1937, in Perryville, daughter of Frank and Harrietta Elder. She and Charles E. Geile were married March 22, 1953. He preceded her in death Nov. 18, 2003.

Barbara had been a waitress. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake, Missouri.

Survivors include three sons, Steve Geile and Mike (Cindy) Geile, all of Wheatland, Wyoming, and Jeff (Debbie) Geile of Perryville; one brother, Richard (Betty) Elder of Robertsville, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 6:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Milton Ryan CM officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Silver Lake.

Memorials are preferred to Rough Road Rescue.
