BARBARA DIEBOLD

BENTON -- Funeral Mass for Barbara Faye Diebold of Benton will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Denis Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton from 1-1:45 p.m.

Diebold, 66, died Sunday, April 26, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 18, 1931, in Flint, Mich., daughter of Earl and Gertrude Kinder Hester. She and Otto S. Diebold were married Oct. 22, 1955, at Benton.

Diebold was a member of St. Denis Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Diebold; two daughters, Diana Beggs and Linda Barnes, all of Benton; her parents of Flint; a brother, Russell Hester of Flint; and six grandchildren.
