ANNA, Ill. -- Barbara Ann Chuck, 88, of Anna died Monday, March 9, 1998, in Union County Hospital. She was born May 15, 1909, in Fayette City, Pa., daughter of Joseph and Mary Frances Cvetan Sector. She and Joseph Chuck were married Oct. 24, 1924, in Fayette City. He died Dec. 7, 1990...
ANNA, Ill. -- Barbara Ann Chuck, 88, of Anna died Monday, March 9, 1998, in Union County Hospital.
She was born May 15, 1909, in Fayette City, Pa., daughter of Joseph and Mary Frances Cvetan Sector. She and Joseph Chuck were married Oct. 24, 1924, in Fayette City. He died Dec. 7, 1990.
Chuck was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Goldie Petraitis and Mildred Goins of Anna; a son Joseph Chuck Jr. of Dongola; three sisters, Mildred Shegich, Mary Striptka and Violet Spudic, all of Hammond, Ind.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
