Barbara Ann Skinner Chilcutt, 66, of Ellsinore, Mo., and formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Aug. 30, 1942, in Charleston, daughter of the late James Doris and Ella Gertrude Terrell Skinner. She and Edgar Dewayne Chilcutt were married June 18, 1994.
She was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church at Doniphan, Mo., and had been employed as a waitress at Bessie's Cafe in Charleston.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Billy Gene Newton, Jr. of Benton and Barry Don Newton of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; a stepson, Clinton Chilcutt of Ellsinore; three stepdaughters, Sabrina Smith of Houlka, Miss., Rebecca Lunsford of Pontotoc, Miss., Ginger Camp of Bruce, Miss.; five brothers, Joe Skinner and Michael Skinner of Paducah, Ky., Donnie Skinner and David Skinner of Kevil, Ky., and Russell Skinner of Sikeston, Mo.; a sister, Lenora Hamm of Ellsinore; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, an infant daughter, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at McMikle Funeral Home, with Dr. Steve Proctor, the Rev. Jim Osborn and the Rev. Tom Graham officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
