BARBARA BAUERLE

Barbara L. Bauerle, 69, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, May 12, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born March 12, 1927, in St. Louis, daughter of Martin and Harriette Cole Pusateri. She and James A. Bauerle were married March 8, 1952, in Webster Groves.

Bauerle received a master's degree. She had been an art supervisor in Cape Girardeau Public Schools. She was secretary of the building fund at Christ Episcopal Church, member of the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, and active worker and supporter of the Rose Display Garden. She was a past president of Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary and Chapter LY of PEO.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Edward Bauerle of St. Charles and Frank Bauerle of Canyon Country, Calif.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Brant Hazlett will officiate.
