PUXICO -- Bacil Herman Lowery, 85, of Puxico, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996 at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Nov. 3, 1911, in Idalia, son of the late Elisha and Mary Floyd Lowery. He had lived and farmed in Puxico for the past 26 years and was a life-long resident of Stoddard County.
He married Dorothy Sivert on March 30, 1935, in Dexter, and she survives him.
He is also survived by one son, Leo H. Lowery, of Puxico; two daughters: Shelba Sifford, of Puxico, and Norma Baker, of Birch Tree; three brothers: Curtis W. Lowery, of Bernie, Robert E. Lowery, of Phoenix, Ariz., and James L. Lowery, of Arnold; three sisters: Robbie Janis, Thelma Crouse and Elnora Reinbott, all of Poplar Bluff; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and one sister.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Bloomfield Cemetery.
