Austin Kyle Grogan, 17, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, at his home.

He was born Aug. 4, 2005, in St. Louis to Josh and Mandy Grogan.

He attended Jackson High School in Jackson.

Austin was the best son a mother could ask for. He was the most caring, giving, respectful young man. He never met a stranger and would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. His amazing personality and caring heart shined through to everyone he met. Anyone who met him loved him. He had the biggest heart and loved selflessly. He taught everyone so much about being fearless and going for your dreams no matter what. He was a loving brother to his sister. She could always count on him no matter what. Their bond, and the bond with him and his mom, are unbreakable forever. He enjoyed family trips to the Caribbean and jet skiing on the open water. He enjoyed lake trips with family and friends, and fishing with Papa. He loved cruising in his car and listening to his music. Music meant the world to him. He enjoyed spending time with his loving girlfriend, Jordann, and hanging out with friends.

He was a member of La Croix United Methodist Church.
