DEXTER, Mo. -- Aurelia Margaret Ivy, 80, died Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 29, 1923, at Campbell, the daughter of Jesse James and Lydia Margaret Welker Fields.
She was first married to Vernon H. Burge, who died in 1969. She later married John J. Ivy, who died in 1972. She was also preceded in death by a special friend, Charles Lepschenske in 1982.
Ivy had lived in Dexter most of her life and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Jimmie Burge of Dexter; a daughter, Mary S. Blanton of Bloomfield, Mo., a stepdaughter, Sandra Kay Riehn of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Leo Fields of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel with the Revs. Bob Wiggins and Vic Suhany officiating. Burial will be in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
