AUGUSTINE MENZIES

DORENA -- Augustine Menzies, 63, of Dorena died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 29, 1932, in Canalou, the daughter of James and Mary Williams Lawrence. On Feb. 28, 1946, she married Paul Menzies.

Menzies was a store owner in Dorena. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and was church secretary for many years.

Survivors are her husband; one son, Willie D. Menzies of Arizona; one brother, Sylvester Choates of Cairo, Ill.; one stepbrother, Jessie Lee Lattimore of California; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.

Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. T.R. Tyus officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
