Audrey L. Daniel, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, April 27, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 13, 1929, in St. Louis, to Stephen and Anna Komorech Kulifay.
She and the Rev. Robert John Daniel were married Feb. 5, 1950, at St. Louis. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Her home church was St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Louis. She was a volunteer at the FISH Pantry in Cape Girardeau and the American Cancer Society. She loved gardening, canning, embroidering and especially solving crossword puzzles. Audrey instilled in her children the values of a family and the passing on of traditions to her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include six daughters, Linda Leach (Dave), Judy Daniel, Debra Daniel, Becky Prost (Rick), Sarah Daniel, Stephanie Bunton (Bob); three sons, John Daniel (Kim); Bob Daniel and Dave Daniel; two sisters, Betty Omohundro and Kathy Knippenberg; 13 grandchildren, Jennifer Mohundro (Scott), Jeff Prost, Bo, Mike, Blake, Tiffany and Ross Bunton, Maci, Tess, Ben, Luke, Audrey and Anna Daniel; and one great-grandchild, Lilly Mohundro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Stephen Kulifay.
There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday at Concordia Cemetery in St. Louis.
