ROCKVIEW -- Audrey Lucille Calhoun Bucher, 82, of Rockview died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, at her home.
She was born Jan. 9, 1918, at Puxico, daughter of Audie Lee and Hattie Hariet Smith Harmon. She married Carl Millard Calhoun Sept. 4, 1937, at Benton. He died April 20, 1963. She and Leon Joseph Bucher were married Oct. 4, 1972, at Scott City. He died Sept. 19, 1988.
Bucher moved back to this area in 1972 from Newark, Calif. She had been a seamstress at Ely Walker Co.
Survivors include a son, Carl Calhoun of Rockview; a daughter, LaVonne Craven of Rockview; three stepsons, David Bucher of Hemphill, Texas, Ronald Bucher of Williamsburg, Leon Bucher of Rockview; two stepdaughters, Wendy Robinson of Bradley, Ill., Marie Polish of Stoughton, Wis.; a brother, Dr. Wesley Harmon of Ellisville; two sisters, Iva Cox of Greenville, Shirley Spear of Puxico; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and a sister.
There is no visitation.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Charles Lance will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
