AUBRY KELSO

MATTHEWS -- Aubry Deluar Kelso, 90, of Normal, Ill., died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at her home.

She was born Dec. 9, 1909, in Jackson County, Ala., daughter of Joseph and Nancy Smith Jakson. She and John Walker Kelso were married Dec. 31, 1922, in Aberdeen, Miss. He died April 28, 1981.

Formerly of the Matthews area, she lived in Normal the past six years.

Survivors include five daughters, Mary Young of East Peoria, Ill., Dorothy Walls and Thelma Patterson, of Mahomet, Ill., Ruby Gold of St. Charles, Ann Losey of Normal; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two daughters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with Dr. Jim Guffie officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery.
