MOUNDS, Ill. -- Aubrey E. East, 81, of Wood River, died Tuesday, June 6, 1995, at Memorial Hospital in Alton. Formerly of Olmsted and Cairo, he was the son of Robert and Emma Lowry East. East was a retired electrician with Standard Oil Co. Survivors include his wife, Velma; a daughter, Karen Yates of Godfrey; a son, Gary East of Prairietown; a sister, Francine Shumaker of Villa Ridge; several grandchildren, and a great-grandchild...

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Aubrey E. East, 81, of Wood River, died Tuesday, June 6, 1995, at Memorial Hospital in Alton.

Formerly of Olmsted and Cairo, he was the son of Robert and Emma Lowry East.

East was a retired electrician with Standard Oil Co.

Survivors include his wife, Velma; a daughter, Karen Yates of Godfrey; a son, Gary East of Prairietown; a sister, Francine Shumaker of Villa Ridge; several grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Marks Mortuary in Wood River from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at the mortuary at 10 a.m. Friday. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds.
