JONESBORO, Ark. -- Ashley Alexis Buell, 33, of Jonesboro, formerly of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was born Sept. 30, 1989, in Cape Girardeau, to Steven and Carol Little McLemore. She and Joshua Buell were married June 5, 2010, in Jackson. They had recently been residing in Jonesboro, where Josh was completing his residency at St. Bernard's.
Ashley was a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School and a 2019 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She was a resilient, energetic and devoted full-time wife and mother. Some of her favorite things were playing board games, family movie night, crafting and cooking with Alexis.
When living in Jackson, Ashley attended the First General Baptist Church.
Ashley's family includes her husband of 12 years, Joshua Buell; twin sons, Jordan and the late Jayden, and twins, James and Alexis "Lexie," all of Jonesboro; her parents, Steve and Carol McLemore of Jackson; a sister, Brittney (Nic) Stern, and their children, Colton and McKenzie; paternal grandparents, Don (Erna) McLemore of Jackson; and Josh's parents, John (Nancy) Buell of Benton, Missouri, and Jeanne (Marc) Scheffel of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by an infant twin son, Jayden Buell, on Sept. 9, 2014, and maternal grandparents, Charles and Bessie Little.
Visitation is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, and from 11 a.m. to service time Monday, Nov. 21, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The Rev. Tommy Miller will conduct the funeral service at noon Monday, Nov. 21, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
