ANNA, Ill. -- Arvil Walter Kimbro, 71, of Anna died Monday, Nov. 17, 1997, in Anna.
He was born Dec. 27, 1925, son of Arvil S. and Emily Wilburg Kimbro. He and Margie Miller were married July 3, 1967, in Union County.
Kimbro was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Cherie Smith of Rawlins, Wyo., Amber Kindheart of Mt. Sterling, Debra Morrissey of Sarasota, Fla.; three sons, Larry Kimbro of Jonesboro, Ben Smith of Anna, Fred Proctor of Sarasota; a brother, Robert Kimbro of Tyler, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. P.L. Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
