ARVELL LAWRENCE

DEXTER -- Arvell Lawrence, 86, of Dexter died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998, at his home.

He was born on July 7, 1912, at Essex, son of Isaac and Bertha Chandler Lawrence.

He lived in the Dexter area most of his life. He was a retired gravel truck driver.

He married Sybil Harper on Dec. 21, 1935, at Bloomfield.

Survivors include his wife of Dexter; a daughter, Helen Triplett of Dexter; a brother, Theodore DeJournett of Ellsinore; a sister, Imogene Grim of Essex; a granddaughter; and three great-grandsons.

Funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter.

The Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter will officiate. Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
