ARTHUR H. BURK

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Arthur H. Burk of Sikeston will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles Warren will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Eugene Warren.

A service will also be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Chapel in Pierceton, Ind., with the Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton.

Burk, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born June 23, 1910, in Monticello, Ky., son of Charles and Savannah Bell Burk. He and Marie Gregory were married in 1946. She died in 1966. He later married Bertha Harper Warren in 1973.

Burk was a member of Greater Works Church of Jesus Christ in Sikeston.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Karey Burk of Phoenix, Ariz., Gary Burk of Syracuse, Ind.; three daughters, Judy Prater, Julie Reems and Elizabeth Gregory of Warsaw, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Helen Goings of Dexter, Dolly Hutson of Mountain Grove; six stepsons, John Warren of Dexter, Lester Warren of Savannah, Ga., Rev. Charles Warren of Sikeston, Bob Warren of High Hill, Billy Warren of DeSoto, Rev. Eugene Warren of Lees Summit; two sisters, Etta Anderson of Otterbein, Ind., Levi Gregory of Monticello; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 27 stepgrandchildren, and 32 great-step-grandchildren.
